Holiday Park Hohentauern 4 stars

Holiday park Hohentauern is located in the small and lovely mountain village of Hohentauern. This pretty little village is situated in a protected national park, 70 km west of Leoben and 40 km north of Judenburg. Seen from a touristic perspective the area is part of the holiday region Murtal. Nearby the holiday home is an indoor swimming pool. In Weißenbach there are outdoor tennis courts and an 18-holes golf course. There are possibilities for horse-riding, fishing, mountaineering and plenty of cycling routes and mountain bike trails. The surroundings are also ideal for hiking, it is a real hiking paradise, with more than 200 km of marked routes. For children, a visit to the nearby adventure park Keltenberg or Kinderland is a lot of fun. The holiday park consists of 60 neatly and fully furnished linked chalets, most of them are identical. Some chalets have are equipped with a woodstove (Schwedenofen) and others with a combi microwave oven and/or dishwasher. The bedroom on the ground floor is equipped with either a double bed or a bunk bed and one of the bathrooms holds a shower/steam cabin. The chalets are build with the use of classic wooden framing and provide a magnificent view on the vast mountain landscape. It is possible to use some of the services offered by the adjacent 4-star sports hotel Moscher. Like the restaurant (half board possible) and a wellness center. Furthermore the hotel has a sports centre with indoor hockey, a horse-riding school and a swimming lake with sunbathing areas. The peace, quiet and wideness of this beautiful area around holiday park Hohentauern is a pleasant surprise that will please everybody.
