Location
Apartment Frans is situated on the second floor of this spacious, well maintained house in the famous Zillertal, on the edge of the beautiful village Fügen. Fügen is the gateway to the valley and lies 25 km southeast of the Achensee and 20 north of the Mayerhofen. In the valley it is possible to ski on the Hintertux glacier, even in the summer. The entire valley is crossed by gondolas and chair lifts. The Achensee is a lovely place to relax and cool down during hot summer days. It offers real clear water and is surrounded by mighty Alp giants. Only 2 km away is a beautiful swimming pool complex, with a slide and other attractions. Other famous places are easy to visit, like Innsbruck (50 km). The surroundings around apartment Franz offer many excellent possibilities for hiking and biking trips.
