Location
This authentic Istrian country estate Gajana is over 100 years old and stands on a quiet spot in the village of the same name, Gajana. The house lies in the middle of a green landscape, 8 km from the coast and 7 km north of Pula. The inlands of Istrië offer unprecedented peace and untouched nature. Pula is a lively city and has a lot of culture to offer. There are many restaurants and it is a starting point for several ferry trips to surrounding islands and Venice. An advantage of this authentic house are the thick walls, they provide coolness. Guests can enjoy the privacy and quiet in the fenced, well shielded garden. There is a partly covered terrace and wooden garden furniture. The house is atmospherically decorated, with for example beam ceilings, large wooden tables and other furniture. Only the second floor has airconditioning. The bathroom is reached via the covered terrace. Country estate Gajana is carefully restored to a comfortable holiday home while maintaining historical detials.
