Holiday home Le Surmelin is located outside the city of Baulne en Brie. The rich champagne capital city Epernay lies 25 km east of this holiday home, on the Route Touristique du Champagne. A dozen kilometers northeast of Paris forms the Aisne a lovely green area for the million inhabitants of Ile de France. Besides the proximity of Paris (90 km) and Eurodisney (65 km) L'Aisne offers a lot of culture and nature. For example the valley of Marne, several teeming tributaries and the famous Route du Champagne through the world famous vineyards. The Soissons (closeby) was in medieval times the city of kings in former France and is the home of still one of the most powerful cathedrals. The closeness of the attraction parks Eurodisney, Parc Asterix and Mer de Sable, and the good accessibility of Paris make this a excellent location to make daytrips from.
