Location
Holiday home David is located in the village of Braye-en-Laonnois, 15 km south of Laon. This colorful house stands in a quiet street near the church of this sleepy village. Located between Paris and the Belgian border, L'Aisne is a nature and culture rich area. In the south is for example the valley of the Marne, and the famous Route Du Champagne through the world famous vineyards. Also the near Soissons, which was in medieval times the city of the kings of former France, is worth a visit and is still the home of one of today's most powerful cathedrals. The interesting line of trenches Chemin des Dames, from World War I is a stone's throw away from the village. Laon is a city with a beautiful medieval part on a hill and a more recent part at the foot of the hill. Several attraction parks are within a short distance, like Eurodisney, Parc Asterix, Mer de Sable and Center Parcs and the good accessibility of Paris and the Champagne region make a variety of daytrips possible. The detached house is part of a farm, where also some guestrooms are. Guests have a flowery garden and the interior is from 2006. Holiday home David is completely renovated in 2006.
