Camping site Château du Gandspette is located 3 km outside the village of Eperlecques, next to hamlet Gandspette. The location is in the northwest of France, between Calais (32 km northwest) and Lille (78 km southeast) in the department Nord-Pas de Calais, circa 30 km from the beaches. Furthermore, the location is at the Cote d'Opale, known for its white chalk cliffs. Utrecht (in the Netherlands) is 300 km away. Near Cap Gris-Nez lies the coastal city of Wissant (12 km) with a beautiful sandy beach. A little bit further are Boulogne-sur-Mer and the mundane Le Touquet-Paris. A recommendation for a family trip is a visit to attraction park Bagatelle in Merlomont and Nausicaa in Boulogne, to discover the underwater world. Even a trip to Great Britain, with the ferry or via the canal tunnel is possible. This castle camping site is located in the 11 acre large park of a 19th century castle. Guests occupy one of the brand new mobile homes on this quiet family camping site with circa 150 lots. It is a woody environment and a 18 holes golf course is only 5 km away. The facilities of the camping site are guaranteed open from the midst of May till the midst of September. In this period is also freshly baked bread available on the camping site, every day.
