Location
Holiday park Gólya is a small scale and moder park located near the Velence lake and consists of 27 spacious and luxurious holiday homes. The Velence lake is the domain of many water birds and water athletes. And it is a central location for all kinds of cultural trips and activities. The ancient bishop city of Székesfehérvar, 20 km from the park, was for hundreds of years the home of the Hungarian kings, they even were crowned here. Budapest, the pearl of the Danube, is only 30 minutes away. This city has a rich cultural history. In 1247 the first castle was built and in 1361 it became the capital city of the kingdom of Hungary. The 'Castle hill' in Budapest is walled and offers a magnificent view on the Danube with her bridges. Other highlights are the Matthias church, the Fisherman's bastion and the baroque facades in the streets. Hungary is proud of its applied art and colorful traditions, which come alive during the annual folkoric events. The holiday homes on the park are built in an urban area, directly on the shore of the Velence lake and the park has its own beach. There is also a small childrens bath and guests can rent bicycles, go-karts and boats. If guests would like to rent a house with a travel party up to 4 persons, the prices can be requested via telephone or email. It is a small scale park but because of the many facilities, central location and friendly staff the park is very popular and has many returning guests. Holiday park Gólya is the ideal holiday destination for the entire family.
