Location
"Holiday park Ijsselhof is located near Andijk, directly at the Ijssel lake and only 15 km away from cities like Medemblik, Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Here are many buildings that recall the Golden Age and the rich seafarer past. The surroudings are ideal for an active biking or hiking day. Don't forget to visit old Dutch villages like Edam, Volendam and Marken, a former island. These villages are certainly worth a visit, just as the world city of Amsterdam of course. A visit to Texel is also possible. Andijk is a good starting point to discover the North Sea coast of West Netherlands. Close to the park are also a lot of things to do. Just outside the park is hiking path of 1 km across the dike, sandy beaches with swim possibilities (1200 meter away), sailboat, canoe and yachtboat rental (800 meter) and plenty of opportunities to fish and bicycle. The reception staff is more than willing to provide information. The old barn has been converted and is an excellent place to play, for both young and old. There is a jumping pillow, football table, games, playground attributes, airhockey table, a reading corner and guests can use WIFI for free. Guests can also use the facilities located on the adjacent holiday park Grootslag: swimming pool, with two children baths, pancake restaurant, 2 all-weather tennis courts, open from April til October and bowling. An animal park lies central in the park with inter alia ponies on which kids can make a ride during the school holidays (April til October). From November 1 til April 1 the supermarket, go-kart and bike rental on the park are closed and the catering facilities are limited. In the school holidays in April til October there is a fun animation program. The house stands on a spacious plot of 300m2 with a terrace and storage room. The special child proof houses are located at the water and have a special fence at the water side. Furthermore, there is a separate kids playtable, kids wagon, stair fence and dresser. The houses have different owners, so the interior can vary. To grant special requests regarding to the location or interior (for example 2 houses next to eachother or a certain number) the park charges a fee of €19,00 per booking. Guests stay in a comfortable and recently built holiday home in the directly at the Ijssel lake located holiday park Ijsselhof. The following discounts are valid for families who have at the time of residence minimum 1 child younger than 5 years or if one of the guests is at the time of residence 50 years or older. If guests want to make use of this discount please mention this when booking, and the date of birth. Discounts cannot be awarded retrospectively and cannot be combined, unless stated otherwise. 15% discount on weekly rental in the periods: 11.03.11 - 22.04.11; 06.05-11 – 10.06.06.11; 17.06.11 – 01.07.11; 02.09.11 -14.10.11; 28.10.11 – 23.12.10. 15% discount on weekend rental in the periods: 11.03.11 – 18.04.11; 13.05.11 – 30.06.11; 17.06.11 – 27.06.11; 02.09.11 – 10.10.11; 04.11.-19.12.11 25% discount on midweek rental in the periods: 28.02.11 – 22.04-11; 09.05.11 – 10.06.11; 20.06.11 – 01.07.11; 05.09.11 – 14.10.11; 31.10.11 – 23.12.11
